Dow Jones Newswires is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic reporter for its EQUITY MARKETS TEAM in London. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, flashing for the wire, writing short, real-time news pieces through to in-depth features and market reports. The reporter will be writing for Dow Jones Newswires as well as for other platforms, including The Wall Street Journal Europe.

The ideal candidate will have some relevant experience in financial journalism, an ability to work in a fast-moving environment to tight deadlines and excellent contact-building skills. We are also interested in candidates who are comfortable using social media such as twitter and video to communicate with subscribers. Given the early hours that companies report in London, candidates will be expected to work early shifts.
