Editorial/research intern required for weekly recycling magazine MRW (includes lunch and travel expenses)

MRW, the leading recycling and waste management publication, requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated and well-organised intern to work on a special supplement celebrating the magazine's 100th birthday.

We're looking for someone with good research and communication skills - plus a keen eye for detail - who is able to work for a two-week period starting 28 May (excluding Jubilee bank holidays).

Responsibilities will include editorial research, picture sourcing and potentially some bylined writing opportunities. Example tasks include digging out interesting 'make do and mend' style World War Two posters on recycling, researching recycling in films/tv/popular culture, and researching key recycling stats from the past 100 years.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential.

Please contact both emma.maier@emap.com and alex@alexcoxon.com, attaching your CV and a covering note outlining why you would be suitable for the role. Reference 'MRW Centenary Supplement Intern' in the subject line of your email.

Please note that this is an unpaid internship. However, we will pay travel expenses within London (zone 1-4) and lunch (up to £5 per day) upon production of valid receipts.
