Specialist business-to-business information provider Campden Media was founded in 1987.
Campden Media’s health division has seven market-leading titles in its portfolio, including: Nursing in Practice, GP Business, Management in Practice and Hospital Pharmacy Europe.
We’re looking for a journalist with two years experience looking to make a step-up to provide and commission content for our primary care division’s websites.
Key responsibilities include:
• Sourcing, commissioning, editing and writing unique content for all three websites and on occasion for the magazines
• Implementing SEO best practices by using key words are tagging articles
• Producing a weekly schedule to brief the primary care team on contents
• Generating new ideas for content delivery online
• Managing social media channels twitter, facebook and linkedin to promote interaction and attracts new followers
• Working with the in-house CMS
• Improving and upgrading existing areas of the website
• Working with online marketing to package web contents in innovate ways to generate traffic
Key skills:
• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
• Ability to research topic areas
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work with a team and adapt to new challenges
Experience required:
• Two years relevant experience ideally as a reporter on a B2B title
• Educated to degree level
• Knowledge of social media
• A background in health reporting would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience commissioning and editing is desirable but not essential
