Senior Press Media Account Director - Property
Our client is looking for a Senior Account Director with experienced amongst the Residential and Commercial Property Markets, Estate Agency and Property Development, overseas and HA.
You will need to have an amazing attention to detail, especially when mentoring and guiding your team. Our client is looking for someone that can identify an angle and see the opportunities and threats.
An Account Director and team leader that can think ahead, you’ll be able to see potential issues that may not be immediately apparent to the rest of your team.
The ideal candidate will also be able to understand the Finance, the margins and innovative back office solutions. You will manage situations where there is no agency commission and suggest alternative income opportunities.
Above all else you will be a fantastic residential media guru able to fit into and potentially head up an established team.

You will understand their clients are sales people not marketers, so are not media-literate and need communication in their language.
You will also need to be a superb buyer using strategic and persuasive suggestion or argument when dealing with suppliers at board level, understanding that property clients focus on rate and always want reductions!
Paramount to all the above you will also understand that media is only a part of the marketing solution within a full service agency. Managing team diary planning, you will enable the team to work across the business and not just on their own clients.
You will be a good team leader - leading by example not by fear, seeing a senior role as a responsibility not kudos.
Marketing ability
Fully conversant with TGI, demographic information such as CACI, Jicreg, NRS, Nielsen/ Comscore but understanding that past experience of what media works, is ultimately what counts.
Strong and demonstrable trading relationship with national and regional press plus property portals.
Market-leading knowledge of the UK regional press
Able to identify key trading metrics - cost per thousand, readership or circulation shifts.
Capable of writing internal and client board reports, strategy documents for clients (both sales strategy and media recommendations) and new business presentations.
