PR Consultant

Our client is a full-service communications agency based in Central London. An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant to join their team, in a role which will incorporate the full breadth of proactive corporate communications programmes and issues management activity. The work will be primarily media relations driven, including digital communications.

The role will involve working collaboratively as part of broader agency teams, to ensure the team delivers high quality work within tight deadlines. You will know how to use creative thinking to develop media stories and opportunities. You should understand the importance of excellent client service, and will have developed first-rate journalist relationships.

The successful candidate may come from an in-house or agency background, but will have a good foundation of communications skills and knowledge. You will
 
•    Have a passion for the media and current affairs, and will be excited by the new world communications order, particularly the role of digital
•    Have superb writing and creative thinking ability, and will the intellectual rigour to grasp the thrust of an argument
•    Be adept at working in terms to deliver outstanding results on campaigns – will be naturally collaborative
•    Be able to offer sound advice to clients and understand their priorities and business
