Designer
Full-time (37.5 hours per week), two-year fixed-term contract
One person in five in the UK is affected by lung disease. Millions more are at risk.
We are the UK’s lung charity and we are here for every one of them, whatever their condition.
The British Lung Foundation is seeking a confident and skilled designer to help us reach more people by producing engaging, well-designed materials that are appropriate to the audience.
Working within the Communications team, you will provide design services across the organisation. The role involves producing a wide range of materials for many different audiences - reports, leaflets, flyers, posters, campaigning materials, a quarterly magazine and a range of digital assets, to name just a few.
In June the British Lung Foundation is launching an exciting new brand. You will play a vital role in ensuring that the brand is used effectively and consistently across the organisation and that our materials are lively and appealing.
You will also be involved in commissioning photography and other artwork for use in print and online, and you will liaise with printers to obtain quotes and manage schedules.
You will be an all-round designer, with the proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects. Bursting with creative ideas, you will have the communication skills to convey those ideas and to work effectively with colleagues in a wide range of areas.
