DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Wall Street Journal is looking for an editor to join its core news team managing the WSJ.Com site. The right candidate has strong experience as a journalist and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize online editorial processes. They must be able to assume responsibility for the details of publishing to multiple platforms and think entrepreneurially about bringing readers better information and services on the Web and mobile devices.
Based in New York, the job will include helping produce the Journal's successful Web site as part of a team of editors. The ideal candidate needs to be exceptionally entrepreneurial, results-oriented, skilled at working as part of a diverse team. Excellent headline-writing skills and news judgment are a must.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have at least three years of post-college journalism experience, including familiarity with online publishing and Web analytics. The role requires night and weekend work.
