This is an EMEA-wide role and slots in as number two within a tight knit practice of specialists – crisis, issues and reputation experts who fulfil a critical role in protecting the agency’s clients from just about every threat (actual or potential) possible.

It’s high-profile and challenging work including the development of crisis preparedness and training programmes and handling actual ‘live’ crises.  These could be anything from companies going into administration, factory closures, redundancies, product recalls, litigation cases and, of course, companies directly or indirectly involved with the Olympics.

Ideally, you’ll have a track record gained within an international consultancy where crisis and issues management will have formed a significant part of your repertoire but not necessarily exclusively so.  Or, you might have worked in house in an issues-rich environment.  Either way, you’ll need a level of maturity and gravitas to enable you to interface with CEOs with authority and a level-head.  Some public affairs experience and knowledge of regulated industries would be invaluable.

If you have an aptitude for crisis and issues management and want to focus your skills in this fast-growing and recession-defying sector, then please get in touch as soon as possible by sending your cv to us at best@the-foundry.co.uk.
