The successful candidate will be a confident, creative and energetic news editor who is equally at home breaking news exclusives in text articles, videos, podcasts or social media.
Knowledge of food and drink manufacturing is less important than a real passion to be first with the news delivered via a multi-media format.
You will need to be a first-class online news journalist with the creativity to spot a great story line. You will also need the dogged determination to separate the fact from the flannel when it comes to the big news stories of the day.
