An opportunity has arisen to join the Investor Relations and Communications team at this high profile, ambitious firm.   Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, the focus of the role will be in supporting the team in the management and delivery of all IR and corporate communications activity for the plc including:

Internal Communications:

  • Collate articles for, design and edit the quarterly internal magazine
  • Collate and edit articles for the weekly employee e-mailLiaison with HR departments locally and abroad regarding internal communications

Investor Relations:

  • Project management of the reporting process and managing day to day working relationships with external suppliers
  • Drafting and review of market announcements, annual reports and analyst presentations
  • Collation of information
  • Providing support for key events including Results and analyst visits

Public Relations:

  • Providing support for ‘escalated’ PR issues, including projects with a significant public interest or with the potential to impact on the corporate brand
  • Distribution of daily media monitoring reports
  • Analysis of themes and trends in media coverage of the company

Corporate Responsibility:

  • Project management of the reporting process and managing day to day working relationships with external suppliers
  • Internal and external communication of the company’s sustainability and charity programmes

Other responsibilities include managing relevant sections of the website and supporting on ad-hoc projects including mergers, disposals, equity raises, debt refinancing etc.   

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of the Stock Market as well as a keen understanding of relevant regulations for Financial PR, consumer PR and Investor Relations.
