Reporter - Construction Week

Due to an internal promotion, Construction Week has a vacancy for an experienced and talented reporter to join its hard-working team.

Candidates will need to demonstrate their ability to deliver a stack of daily news to ConstructionWeekOnline.com, plus regular features to the weekly print magazine.

The right person for the job will be a native English speaker, with a track record of delivering off-diary news content. They will also be confident enough to secure high-level executive interviews and plenty of project site visits.

A good nose for news, writing talent and a persistent, professional approach to news gathering are all essential. These skills will likely be demonstrated by a minimum of two years experience working in a news environment.

A host of trade shows, company events and awards programmes provide plenty of leads, but candidates will need to be able to generate their own contacts and story ideas.

Regional travel will be required, so adaptability, patience and an open-minded approach to other cultures are essential.

The role is permanent, full time and based in Dubai.
