Benzinga, a US news and media publication, is seeking an experienced finance editor to help grow our brand.
Ideal candidates should have the following background and experience:
• Applicants must be able to edit and publish content on a range of subjects from market, economic, finance and stock related news.
• Editors must be able to assist writers with clarity and consistency while encouraging fast turnaround, as well as ensure the effectiveness of the content on the site.
• Commitment to quality and timely deliverables is an absolute must.
• Must be able to analyze financial data and information in order to confirm accuracy
• Ensure stock tickers, themes, channels and entities are appropriately tagged and organized
• Requires a minimum of three years financial editorial experience
• Impeccable punctuation, grammar and communication skills
Qualified candidates must be available from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during substantial news times.
