The MailOnline is looking to take on experienced Video Journalists to work within a new team at the website.
The applicants should be confident in reporting news stories (including a good knowledge of media law), editing on Avid and be keen to react to breaking news stories as they happen.
Video content is sourced from a wide range of providers and as well as editing rushes into packages. The successful applicants must be willing to chase the copyright holders of footage and be able to work with a variety of video formats in order to deliver the best news content for the site. The ability to liaise across the news, showbiz, picture and technical teams in order to find this footage is essential. Occasionally the journalist will need to write short copy to accompany the footage.
The successful candidates will also have the ability to film and a knowledge of Final Cut Pro.
