Mumsnet Bloggers' Network Editor and Community Manager

Mumsnet, the popular online community, is looking to recruit a Bloggers' Network Editor to oversee and grow its burgeoning Bloggers' network

Role and responsibilities
• Oversee blog recruitment - identifying bloggers, vetting blogs
• Oversee blog promotion across Mumsnet and via other social and traditional media channels
• Develop the platform and create new features for the Bloggers' community
• Lead and grow the existing Bloggers' Network editorial/community management team (of two)
• Act as an ambassador for the community on and offline, at industry events, in the media etc

General skills
• Excellent editorial judgement
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience of working in an online publishing environment is helpful
• Passion for social media

Specific skills
• Own blog and involvement/ understanding of bloggers networks
• Proven track record of building social media followings in a professional and/or a personal capacity


Full time or four days, with the option of working four days across a five day week.
Full-time equivalent salary circa 35k + bonus
