The Black Tomato group is looking for a talented and dynamic Art Director to work across their award winning platforms, including the website Black Tomato, Beach Tomato and pinch magazine.
The candidate will have a strong eye for all design aesthetics used across the sites and be able to bring strong design ideas and insight to the role. They should be capable of designing and laying out a magazine and have capability in website front end design. The successful candidate will be dynamic and quick paced and have a knowledge of what works online aesthetically.
The candidate will have at least three years industry experience in design either at an agency, magazine, online or in house. Be competent in the Adobe Creative Suite programmes and have good knowledge and interest in fonts as well as be competent at photo research. He or she needs to be a team player and enjoy working in a small, creative and dynamic team. All platforms are renowned for their strong design and aesthetic and the successful candidate will need to be able to both maintain this but moreover look to continue to drive it forward and continually enhance it across all sites.
Online experience is preferred, but not essential
