Research intern at London-based retail and brand innovation consultancy
GDR Creative Intelligence is a London-based retail and brand innovation consultancy that provides essential insights and trends analysis services to a selection of the world’s top consumer brands. Each quarter, GDR publishes an exclusive trends publication – the Global Innovation Report – which reports on emerging retail trends and forward-thinking case studies from around the world. The company also creates tailored research presentations for clients based on specific briefs.
We are looking for a full-time intern to work for 3-6 months as part of GDR’s team of innovation researchers. We're also keen to consider those looking for an internship as part of a sandwich course.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working individual with a can-do attitude, an interest in brands and retail, design and an eye for innovation.
This is a hands-on role that primarily involves helping the team to research content for the publication, and contacting external companies on behalf of GDR. There is also the opportunity to share and discuss feature ideas in daily catchup sessions, as well as researching and writing case studies independently. In addition, the candidate will help with admin tasks to ensure the smooth running of the team. Excellent computer literacy, writing communication skills – face to face, telephone and email – are essential, and knowledge of Photoshop, Keynote/Powerpoint and InDesign will also be beneficial.

The position provides weekly expenses of £100. All applicants preferably need to be London based for the working hours of 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
The internship should form part of an undergraduate or postgraduate university course. Unfortunately the role is not open to graduates.
