This substantial growth over the last few years has resulted in a requirement for 2 dynamic Client Support Executives to join the Gorkana News team.
We are looking for talented individuals with excellent attention to detail, ideally with previous experience of the PR industry and/or a media-related qualification. You will be part of a team responsible for supporting our PR clients with the Gorkana database and day to day queries. Reporting to your line manager, you will work to produce team results and meet deadlines. This is an excellent stepping stone for a career in the media sector.

Responsibilities:
 Help to support our clients across all sectors and various levels, by answering queries via email, telephone
 Client training; general overviews as well as specialised sessions
 Client facing point person – building relationships with the client
 Perform client verifications
 Help support journalists with any queries via email and telephone
 IT support for clients
 Maintain the accuracy of the database through productive research
 Data entry adhering to company protocol
 Build relationships with editorial staff and verify information for publications through telephone contact, email and occasional meetings
 Liaising with other departments to ensure customer is always handled quickly and efficiently
 Out of hours assistance on rotation basis through mobile device and late shifts, including weekends

Requirements:
 Communication skills – verbal and written
 Listening skills
 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all work
 Interest and knowledge of the media & PR industry
 Time management skills – being able to recognise and prioritise work load
 Must be data driven
 Problem analysis and problem-solving
 Computer literate (MS Office)
 Ability to conduct productive research via internet and telephone; exhausting all avenues
 Ability to deal with clients/journalists at all levels

This role is a full time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 17:30pm.
Alongside a competitive salary (£22,000) we also offer the following excellent benefits:
