Production Editor, Harper’s Bazaar (6 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Harper’s Bazaar is looking for a highly organized production editor to join our busy team. The successful candidate will work closely with the subs team and the Managing Editor and will be responsible for overseeing the entire production schedule of the magazine, and overseeing the delivery of the magazine to press on time. They will ensure the smooth running of the daily editorial workflow of the magazine, enforcing deadlines, and keeping tabs on copy, layouts and proofs. This will involve day-to-day liaising with editors, designers, subs and the production controller to oversee every stage of the issue production to bring the magazine back on schedule and ensure the timely delivery of the magazine each month. In addition, they will be required to help with subbing when necessary.

We are looking for a highly motivated and authoritative candidate with previous experience in a production role and with subbing skills and a background working in consumer magazines.
