This highly regarded and long established City based membership body is looking for a talented executive to help shape the sector's response to major financial regulation and to lead on new communication initiatives across the industry.
Media relations will be your primary responsiblity, building and maintaining journalist contacts, responding to media enquiries, writing and distributing press releases, articles and monitoring press coverage, but in addition, you'll produce a monthly newsletter, organise events and update the media sections of the website.
Experience gained in the financial/corporate sector would be ideal and you'll bring solid writing and media handling skills with an ability to assimilate complex information. Excellent organisation skills are a must and you'll be adept at building relations at all levels, quick to win confidence and become a trusted adviser. An interest in social media would be advantageous.
