This long-established and successful consultancy is a leading ethical political practice in the UK and EU. It has a wealth of expertise in advising organisations on devising and implementing campaigns and dealing effectively with Government.
They are looking to recruit at various levels, particularly at Account Director (or strong Senior Account Manager) level in order to take the lead on several of its large clients in the pharmaceutical and chemicals sectors.
At senior level, you will take responsibility for managing client accounts, cultivating client relationships and delivering strategic and well-thought-out public affairs programmes. You will also help to indentify new opportunities to grow the business and stimulate growth.
If you have a proven track record in public affairs (whether gained from experience in Whitehall, Westminster, NGOs, think tanks or the private sector), have excellent client handling and client relationship skills and a keen eye for new business, and a thorough and extensive knowledge of the political processes in the UK and Europe, this could be the role for you. Detailed knowledge of UK healthcare policy would be a distinct advantage.
You will also have excellent verbal and written communications skills, be able to motivate and lead a team and enjoy working within a small and dynamic environment.
