All current employees within this PR agency have both traditional and digital/social capabilities, therefore it is key you have the same –it also mirrors the campaign work they currently deliver.
The agency is based in Farringdon, brand new sparkly offices with an amazing client offering from within. The offices house the entire group of companies under one roof. Since the PR agency is part of the group, the role will involve working with them on a day to day basis – whether this is with the advertising agency on a joint client or with the tech guys in the digital agency, either way, you’ll be comfortable dealing with people at all levels and be happy to help manage projects along on an integrated basis. The MD position will fundamentally be to maximise the agency turnover. There is a strong and ambitious growth plan which needs a strong leader to lead the way. Strategy and planning will be one of your key strengths with amazing new business and team management alongside. The MD will be a key player ensuring the integration of the other agencies is continued and of course helping to integrate new business if and when they come on board. There is a really tight entrepreneurial spirit in the group currently and this is extremely important to uphold. Externally, enhancing the existing clients relationships and increasing retainers is imperative. The team itself do an amazing job of managing their client relationships, this can only be built upon.
Alongside the founder you will be expected to collaboratively bring in new business – sectors currently/future targeted cover consumer tech, entertainment, sports and FMCG. You will also be responsible for managing the agencies P&L and in turn, delivering strategy for growth. The recruitment will be managed by yourself – both traditional and digital/social, ensuring the best talent is on board. The agency will ultimately continue to thrive as it has done over the last couple of years and even more so with your professional input! Quite a large role but one that will be rewarded and respected.
