Multimedia Content Producer – Job Description
Primary Role:
Responsible for creating and editing unique video content for use across the agency’s communications output. This will include editing existing footage as well creating new content in the shape of raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
Secondary Role:
Working with the Head of Digital to evolve and integrate video to become a key part of Pitch’s offering to clients.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head of Digital in creating, implementing and distributing video content on behalf of Pitch and its clients
• Producing, filming and editing pre-specified packages of video content to be distributed across an array of media platforms subject to client and internal demands
• Creating unique video content derived from press launches, photoshoots, and other client-led promotional events
• Creating unique video content to be posted on the Pitch website and social media platforms
• Keep up to date with the way video is used within social media and what the best channels are for promoting and distributing video content
• Liaise with video agency partners as mentors to learn from and advance Pitch’s video capabilities
• Create ideas around where video work could be used for existing client projects as well as new business
• Ongoing development of the Pitch showreel to ensure it is kept up to date with the latest client work and reflects Pitch’s position as a cutting edge sports communications agency
• Explore opportunities to use rights free music for use as video soundtracks, including developing contacts with up and coming bands and unsigned artists
Skills
• Extensive knowledge and experience in using MacBook Pro and Final Cut Pro
• Ability to film, edit and format short-form video content
• Understanding social media channels and how users/consumers engage with video online
• Knowledge and experience in using Adobe Suite incorporating Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash is useful but not essential
• An interest in all things sport would be useful as well as an appreciation of the role video has to play within the sports communications landscape
Day to day examples
• Help the account and event teams with any video requirements
• Attend press and launch events
• Video photo shoots to create behind the scenes footage
• Create video overview docs for either existing or new business
• Create videos of talking heads using talent and/or ambassadors

Measurement of your individual success in the Broadcast Sports Editor role will include:
