TNT Magazine is looking for a talented journalist to join its fast-paced offices in east London.
Working for the UK's oldest free publication, you'll be confident writing myriad topics – including, but not limited to, entertainment, health, lifestyle, careers, news, sport and travel.
Your copy will read like a sub's dream, and you will have second-to-none time-management skills - being able to plan ahead to ensure you never miss a deadline.
The ideal candidate will be brimming with ideas for fun, quirky and informative features, and will bring a wealth of contacts to our publication, which is aimed at 18-35-year-olds.
You'll have experience of juggling writing content for a magazine with writing web stories - turning copy around quickly and accurately, using SEOs and uploading them using our CMS.
Our small team of journalists are expected to have a good knowledge of social media - and understand the benefits of using this medium for features.
Although TNT is a weekly publication, you'd be expected to meet daily deadlines, and use inDesign.
You'll be trained to NCTJ level or equivalent, and understand journalism isn't a 9-5 job.
To apply, send a cover letter detailing your current salary, along with five examples of your work, and six features ideas – which display your understanding of our readership - for one of our August issues.
Send a 100-word (max) pitch for each of the following features:
Send your applications to Editor Carol Driver at email@example.com with ‘Journalist vacancy’ in the subject.
Deadline for applications is midnight, Sunday, July 22.
