The Red 7 Media division of Access Intelligence has an immediate opening for an energetic and enthusiastic Associate Editor with 2+ years of experience to work out of our Norwalk, CT office for the Folio: brand. Red 7 Media is the leader in serving consumer and business magazine markets, the corporate event market, and tradeshow and exhibit design markets.
If you’re an experienced and prolific newshound, comfortable in a highly visible, high-volume digital environment and able to root out breaking news and put a story up faster than the competition then this opportunity is right up your alley.
The Associate Editor will be responsible for writing and reporting for the web site (Foliomag.com) and magazine and helping with the production on both platforms.
The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies/Journalism/Communication or related field. Business journalism experience and a journalistic ease and aptitude for business performance metrics preferred. Digital media skills (expertise in web writing, blogging, social media and analytics; comfortable working in a CMS) are essential.
