A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a London-based full service film and entertainment agency.  They are looking for a PR Account Director, with a track record for delivering stand-out PR campaigns for theatrical film releases, to head up their busy PR department.  Experience in TV and/or home entertainment PR is also desirable.

Working with clients across the home entertainment industry, they are looking for an experienced PR professional with a real interest in building a PR team, as well as the reputation and contacts to lead new business efforts as they expand into theatrical film PR.

The Role

The role is diverse and challenging with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, in an exciting, hard-working and social environment. Heading up a core, growing team (currently a team of 4) the successful candidate will need to have excellent line management skills; show initiative and be able to handle responsibility well.

You will be a confident, friendly individual who will be able to lead client meetings, manage media and talent, and look for new ways of building efficiencies within the PR team.

With a first class client base including world famous film studios through to smaller independent TV companies, they currently have a strong record in delivering excellent PR campaigns across film, TV & home entertainment. The successful candidate will have experience in these areas but will also have experience in creating strategies for theatrical film PR campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

-Overseeing PR strategy for all clients

-Responsibility for the strategic planning and implementation of offline, online and broadcast PR campaigns for home entertainment and theatrical releases

-Responsibility for securing new business from theatrical film clients and managing and growing their current home entertainment client base

-Having excellent relationships with print publications, radio, TV and online contacts

-Managing team budgets

-Line management of the team

Previous Experience

-3+ years experience within an agency / in-house position, delivering theatrical film PR campaigns

-Proven ability to manage & execute commercially-focused, comprehensive and innovative PR campaigns

-Excellent understanding of UK media landscape

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-High level of initiative, autonomy and self motivation

-Excellent time management skills

-Enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to work hard
