Further information

UBM Built Environment is looking for a talented and ambitious features editor to work across Building, the leading weekly magazine for the construction industry, and Ecobuild, the world’s largest sustainability event. The role will involve editing the features and interview sections for Building and Building.co.uk, writing and commissioning agenda setting pieces for the sector and landing high profile interviews with top industry chief executives and government ministers.

The role will have a particular focus on capitalising on the link between Building’s content and the Ecobuild show, recently acquired by UBM, including by using access to the show’s top-level speakers to enhance Building’s coverage of key sustainability issues. The role will also involve supporting the expansion of Ecobuild and Building internationally by increasing coverage of global construction markets, including China and India, and global sustainability issues.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in a features writing or editing role, ideally on a weekly B2B title. He or she will be able to demonstrate first-class features writing skills and the ability to generate exciting, high-impact features ideas for a business audience.

To apply, please send a CV and cover letter, together with two examples of your work, to applyBE@ubm.com, marked for the attention of Sarah Richardson, editor, Building.
