Our client is a leading PR agency specialising in business services, public affairs, regeneration and the environment. An opportunity has arisen for an intelligent, organised, politically astute Account Manager to join their London office.
Working on a range of political, corporate and business-to-business accounts, the role calls for an individual with an interest in both public affairs and corporate/B2B work. You will be responsible for:
- Driving client programmes forward, delivering creatively and accurately, taking responsibility and showing initiative
- Managing client relationships, running client meetings
- Guiding and managing junior team members
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in politics, business and UK current affairs, and will be able to grasp intellectual concepts, convey ideas in writing and sell propositions to clients and stakeholders. You will be a very strong self-starter with a fantastic work ethic, and will be able to work effectively under pressure. You will have superb writing skills, and will be able to adapt your style to suit press releases, articles, and reports, as well as sell them in to a variety of media.
