Period Living magazine, the market leading title in the traditional home interest sector, is seeking an Editorial Assistant. As well as responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of the editorial department, the Editorial Assistant will be expected to research and write editorial content and features for the print edition and website. The Editorial Assistant is also responsible for managing the title’s social media profile.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate a real commitment to pursuing a career in the magazine industry and will already have some work experience within an editorial environment, ideally within the home interest sector.
An excellent command of written English and superb proofreading skills are essential, as is the ability to produce high-quality, accurate work to tight deadlines.
