Web Editor – New Launch
Hearst magazines, one of the UK’s leading, multi-platform publishing companies is looking to recruit a forward thinking and innovative Web Editor to head up the launch of a new leading lifestyle website.
The successful applicant will be involved from the onset, designing the site, identifying available content, creating an editorial schedule, ensuring development requirements are in line with the project timelines, developing new and innovative content ideas to add to the existing concept, developing a web strategy for the title as part of the business planning process and ensuring the site structure and content is commercially viable from an advertising sales and ecommerce point of view.
We are looking for talented journalists with considerable digital expertise and exposure to content across celebrity, lifestyle, travel, health and food. You will be able to demonstrate an up-to-date, commercial understanding of multi-platform assets, passionate about digital, a confident communicator with relevant, fresh and innovative ideas looking to take the next step in your career in an exciting new project.
Although not essential, a basic understanding of HTML5 would be a bonus, alongside experience using HTML in a CMS/publishing environment.
