Abu Dhabi Week, the UAE's largest weekly magazine (82,000 BPA) needs a new Deputy Editor.
Applicants MUST be career journalists who are willing to work out of office hours, come to planning meetings brimming with ideas and be able to take responsibility for the magazine in the Editor's absence.
Ideally the Deputy Editor will have consumer print experience (four years minimum) and will be able to write features, reviews, interviews and news stories as well as acting as a mentor to the team. Leadership experience is essential, as is the ability to think on your feet.
The position is based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Applicants must be ready to relocate in late August or by the first week of September at the latest.
Salary dependent on experience, but in the region of £31k TAX FREE. Interviews will be held on Saturday 11th August in central London. Deadline for applications August 6th.
