Scribol, Headline and Picture Editors

Opportunity: One of the world’s fastest growing content platforms, Scribol.com is looking for three part-time London-based headline and picture editors to join its dynamic, core team.

Experience needed: Experienced online journalists or photojournalists with previous personal responsibility held for large volumes of online content and possessing a familiarity with browser-based content management systems.

Skills: Top-level subediting and copy/picture editing skills, strong ideas led approach, ability to motivate and manage international freelancers, multi-tasking within multiple deadlines and maintenance of consistent, cutting edge quality. An interest in numbers and in particular statistics will make you stand out from the crowd.

Attributes: The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude, high degree of personal organization, fast/productive work rate coupled with diligence… and a sense of humour. Most importantly, they will be able to home in on the stories that the web wants to click on and read.

If targets are met, opportunities to progress within the company will quickly become available.
