Leading energy publisher Petroleum Economist is seeking a Staff Writer to cover work on our flagship publication Petroleum Economist, PE Unconventional, the Petroleum Economist website and our Liquefied Natural Gas newsletter LNG Insight.

As the successful applicant you will have an appetite for research and market analysis; a demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, concise stories; be able to work effectively in a small team of dedicated journalists and develop and maintain a network of industry sources and contacts.

You will be expected to file regular news stories and features for Petroleum Economist’s website, magazine, and Unconventional channels as requested. You will also investigate, research and suggest ideas for features, special reports and editorials. The post also involves some national and international travel.

While energy journalism experience is not essential, it is an advantage, as is knowledge of business or financial reporting.
