A rare opportunity has arisen to join the beauty desk of thinking woman's monthy PSYCHOLOGIES magazine. The Beauty & Wellbeing Director is looking for a committed, hard-working, professional and reliable Freelance Beauty Assistant. The role is a very busy one - demanding a self-starter who is happy to take initiative - with days split between the Kent-based office, and central London attending press launches and appointments.
You will be required to write several pages a month, for the magazine and for online, and to keep the department running like clockwork, with responsibility for call-ins, organising the beauty cupboard, answering phones and keeping abreast of all new beauty launches. Some beauty, or PR desk, experience is required. Travel, Wellbeing and Living experience is also a bonus. Samples of published writing - for online and print - will be required.
The role is paid, and will be based primarily at the Kent offices in Cudham, so it is important for the candidate to be living within reasonable commuting distance. When the role requires you to travel into Central London, travel expenses will also be reimbursed.
