Televisual, Facilities & Technology Editor

Televisual, the monthly magazine and website for the TV and film production community, is looking for a new recruit to join a friendly and experienced team.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience writing within a B2B publishing environment. The role requires an understanding of technology and how it works, so a technical mindset would certainly help.

You would be writing about the latest film and broadcast cameras and live TV production one moment and about post production, VFX, animation and audio mixing the next.

As well as being technically literate, you will be sociable and outgoing as the job involves lots of networking within the industry.

The successful candidate would be expected to be adept at writing news stories and blogs for televisual.com as well as comprehensive and exacting reports for Televisual magazine.

You will have excellent journalistic skills and a good command of magazine craft (ideally including familiarity with InDesign).

The vacancy is a result of expansion within the business, which is based in central London. It is an important role within the company and comes with an attractive salary and benefits package. The start date would be almost immediately or as soon as possible for the right candidate.
