Insurance Insight, the online, paid-for, news and information service for international insurance and risk management professionals is looking for an editor to to help build and drive the brand's profile in Hong Kong and other Asian markets.

From the award winning team at Post, the UK's longest running dedicated insurance title, you will expected to help guide Insurance Insight's editorial and related events strategy in consultation with senior colleagues in London and Hong Kong.

The Role:

This is an important role on a growing online brand, and as the figurehead of Insurance Insight in Asia you will be expected to establish and maintain senior contacts in the Hong Kong and Asian insurance markets; source and commission articles; and develop ideas for rich media projects, events and other brand extensions.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a busy and fast paced environment. They will need to have senior editorial experience, including managing both staff/budgets; an understanding of the key requirements for online publishing - including aspects such as maximising SEO; and chairing industry events.

An in-depth knowledge of the insurance sector is not a pre-requisite, but broad understanding of the financial services sector, its mechanics and importance to the wider economy would be an asset.
