PR Intern Role offered in Film Marketing & Creative Agency based in London West End
We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking PR Intern to join our growing team. The role is diverse and challenging with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, in an exciting, hard-working and social environment.
Reporting to the Senior PR Account Managers and PR Account Executives, the successful candidate will need to show initiative, think creatively and be able to handle accountability well.
As a small team we are looking for a friendly intelligent individual who will be confident in client meetings, dealing with media and talent, and working within the PR team. The right person will have a happy disposition and be able to cope with an occasionally high pressured environment with a mature and professional approach. Being a good communicator both verbally and written is a mandatory requirement for the successful candidate as they will be relied upon to work within the PR team and deal with the media and clients.
The role encompasses a broad range of tasks including: Assisting in devising of feature and campaign ideas. Researching and writing of press releases. Monitoring competitor activity. Building and maintaining relationships with publications, radio, TV and online contacts Taking minutes at fortnightly meetings with clients General administrative duties
Requirements: Good knowledge of the PR Industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good knowledge of Social Media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and YouTube Mature and focussed attitude Willingness to learn Show initiative and self motivation Time management skills Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point programmes

The internship will commence from September and continue to December 2012 and MUST be mandatory work experience as part of a UK-based higher or further education course. Paid travel expenses within London are provided and a £5 per day lunch expense is also covered.
