If you are an experienced and curious reporter with a skeptical eye, we'd like to talk with you. Wisconsin Law Journal, a daily online newspaper covering the state’s legal community, has an opening in its Milwaukee, Wis., office. We're looking for a reporter who can find stories on his or her own, thrive under a daily deadline crunch and contribute investigative and in-depth reporting to our monthly print edition. If your idea of an adequate story is a re-written press release, this is not for you. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in journalism or related field, at least two years of daily newspaper experience, strong writing skills and knowledge of AP style.
Wisconsin Law Journal is part of The Dolan Company(NYSE:DM) and offers a 401(k) along with all the usual big-company benefits.
If you are interested in joining our fun and creative newsroom, please send a cover letter, resume, salary requirements and at least 3 news clips to Editor Chris Thompson: chris.thompson@dailyreporter.com. MENTION GORKANA WHEN APPLYING!
