Blue Sky Publications, publishers of a range of web and online titles in the UK are looking for an editor to head up their new Africa Business desk. We are looking for an intelligent, pro-active individual with experience of business writing and a thorough knowledge of African business development. A deep and abiding knowledge of South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa is a must. Having existing contacts within this realm would be an advantage.
You will be required to marshall over thirty pages of editorial per month, as well as populate a website with similar high specification content. The ideal candidate should be a qualified journalist with at least a year's experience in a high pressure editorial environment. They should have more than a passing academic interest in African business and be prepared to engage in focused investigative projects.
