Environmental Finance Publications is seeking a news editor to work across its print and online specialist financial titles, Environmental Finance and Carbon Finance. The publications, based in central London and part of Field Gibson Media, cover climate change, renewable energy, responsible investment and carbon markets for a global audience.
The successful candidate will:
- write self-generated, high-quality news and feature copy to tight and multiple deadlines
- interview leading industry figures
- edit and proof-read copy produced in-house, and by freelancers and industry contributors
- deputise for the editors of Environmental Finance and Carbon Finance
He or she will also be expected to help maintain the publications’ websites, social media presence and database and directory products.
At least three years journalistic experience is required, preferably covering finance or commodity markets. Understanding of environmental issues and foreign languages would be an advantage.
