The Daily Sentinel in Nacogdoches, Texas, is seeking an experienced, community-minded journalist for the award winning, 8,000-circulation daily newspaper. The person filling the position will:
• Follow and develop hard news pieces;
• Relay touching features;
• Work with social media and online content; and
• Be an integral part of telling Nacogdoches County's stories.
The ideal candidate will be able to step right in and deliver reader-friendly content on a wide array of topics, and have at least 5 years experience producing stories under daily deadlines. Austin State University and the Texas Blueberry Festival and is known as "The Oldest Town in Texas."
