Job Responsibilities:
InvestmentNews, a weekly newspaper covering the financial advisory industry, is looking to add a Series/Features Editor to the InvestmentNews’ editing team in New York.
This senior level editor will be responsible for overseeing the development and production of IN's special reports and series pieces: assigning stories, working with and supervising reporters, editing copy, as well as working closely with the art and research departments to design attractive pages. Also expected to co-ordinate special report and series coverage with our online team to make sure the reports have an online dimension.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communication or related field
• solid journalism background, including 5-10 years of projects editor experience
• previous management experience preferred
• a passion for good writing
• must be highly detail oriented and able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
