Trail Running is on the hunt for a Staff Writer to work 4-days a week for our fast-growing bi-monthly magazine, based in the Peterborough office.
There will also be some Editorial Assistant duties within the role.
The best candidate will be an entertaining, accurate and experienced writer used to tackling fitness and outdoor topics and able to travel for features within the UK and potentially further afield, often at weekends for events. They should also be a quick, organised and friendly individual who is good at admin, keen to learn new skills, bubbling with new ideas and ready to help our small team grow the magazine. It's pretty much essential that the right candidate likes trail running and isn't scared of getting muddy (but you definitely don't have to be an elite athlete!) and is familiar with outdoor gear.
Basic navigation and camping skills are preferred but not essential as we can help the right candidate develop in these areas.
Please note this is not a freelance role, it is office-based in Peterborough.
