Marketing Week is looking for a talented, creative and ambitious features editor. This role is very senior and the successful candidate will be expected to play a large role in shaping the editorial direction of the magazine.
As an experienced editor, they will be expected to manage a team of features writers and freelances, overseeing both the print magazine and online user experience of features. This requires working with the art team, production team and commercial team on a daily basis. This job requires incredible planning skills, strong commercial understanding, good legal knowledge and ability to work within a budget. A sense of humour and ability to keep calm under pressure is also a must.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for layout and page design. Experience in creating interactive features is desirable. Marketing Week publishes daily online, weekly in print and has a large number of special quarterly commercial-led sections, so this is a role encompassing a vast number of responsibilities and deadlines.
This job is one of the lynchpins of Marketing Week, going far beyond simply editing copy and we are looking for a truly exceptional individual to fill this role.
