Campden Media, Reporter - Healthcare Titles

Specialist business-to-business information provider Campden Media was founded in 1987.

Campden Media’s healthcare division has six market-leading titles in its portfolio: Nursing in Practice, GP Business and Management in Practice, Hospital Healthcare Europe, Hospital Imaging and Radiology Europe and Hospital Pharmacy Europe.

We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a reporter, who will report directly to the editor in chief.

Key responsibilities include:

• Writing news, features and other content for our magazines and websites
• Attending press conferences and events
• Developing and understanding of the NHS
• Generating ideas for features and interviews
• Helping to coordinate magazine production
• Supporting the commissioning editor
• Working with the online division to increase web traffic
• Using social media to promote the brands
• Potential to take an editor role on some supplements

Key skills:

• Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
• Ability to research topic areas
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work with a team and adapt to new challenges

Experience required:

• Educated to degree level
• Knowledge of social media
• A background in health reporting would be beneficial but not essential
• Experience commissioning or editing would be beneficial but not essential

Salary: DoE
