Financial News, Online Reporter

Financial News is looking for an energetic and ambitious Online Reporter to join our talented team of journalists.

The ideal candidate would be intelligent, hard-working and able to cope with writing news, analysis and blogs and managing the production-side of a fast-paced and highly-respected website.

The reporter will need to be able to write cleanly about complicated issues for a sophisticated audience. He or she will need to have a strong interest in the financial markets – although specialist knowledge is not required.

We will consider candidates that have either recently qualified from journalism courses or candidates who have gained a few years' experience at business and financial publications.

Responsibilities will include:

• Writing online stories, analysis and blogs across the European capital markets
• Writing and editing the daily news in briefs
• Compiling the industry people moves for the weekly newspaper
• Maintenance and management of the website with pictures and photo galleries

Financial News is part of the Dow Jones group, allowing the reporter to work closely with colleagues at Dow Jones Newswires and The Wall Street Journal Europe.
