AccountingWEB is looking for a full-time staff writer/reporter in the Boston/Providence area. Business writing experience is a plus. We cover the accounting profession, so knowledge of that profession is particularly useful but not required. Some travel is required.
Job responsibilities:
• Planning editorial coverage
• Researching, interviewing, and writing news stories
• Administrative duties - newsletter production
• Social media updates
Skills required:
• Writing news stories on deadline
• Interviewing experience
• Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Familiarity with Drupal platform a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with various social media venues
