This is a great opportunity to join the Night Production team working as a Nightshift Editor.
We are looking for an individual with an interest in, and good knowledge of, news and current affairs to work in a dynamic City-based media monitoring organisation.

You will be reading all of the National Press and other important major regional publications overnight for a range of our customers looking for specific keywords and then comparing them to the instructions provided.

Gorkana, Durrants and Metrica have long been known as the UK market leaders in media planning, monitoring and evaluation. This is an exciting role for those of you who relish being up to date with the important information that’s shapes our world.
A good eye for detail and the ability to work and read at speed within a fast-paced editorial team is a must. You will also posses good editorial or writing skills as part of your workload involves summarising news articles.

You will have the ability to maintain high degrees of concentration with excellent accuracy levels. You work well individually though also as part of a dedicated industry sector as you will be reading the National press overnight for a range of customers.

The hours of work are 10:15pm – 6.15am Monday - Monday during your on-shift. The shift pattern is 7 days on, 7 days off.

Rate is £16.5k per annum – this progressively increases in the first 15 months. The role is also part of a quality based bonus scheme that all team members are eligible for after completion of the 3 months probationary period.
