Market leading Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom magazine, based in Colchester is looking for a first class Chief Sub/Feature Writer to join its busy editorial team. Reporting to the Editor you will drive the written style of the magazine, help create style guides, contribute features and be responsible for subbing all the words and directing other staff where necessary. The role is permanent and full-time working across both print and digital products.

Responsibilites
Ensure the voice of the brand is consistent throughout the magazine and helping to develop a strong editorial style.
Subbing and proofreading all copy ensuring editorial accuracy and deadlines are met.
Generating headlines, sells and interesting pull-outs.
Fact checking.
Contributing coverlines.
Writing engaging and accurate copy.
Ensuring all pages go to press smoothly and on time.

You must be a strong team player and have a dedication to excellence.
