Immediate Media, the UK’s largest cross-media Parenting publisher, is looking for an experienced Editor to work across its multi-platform portfolio of parenting websites and magazines. This is a chance to become a pivotal team leader, joining at an exciting time in the development of a cross-platform parenting editorial team.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding editorial, digital, creative, leadership and management skills together with commercial acumen and an ability to mentor editorial talent. Experience in the parenting market is not essential, but you must have worked as an editor and have considerable digital experience. You’ll also need to demonstrate your success in growing and developing a digital audience through creative understanding of your users.

You’ll work with two other parenting editors and report to the editorial director, playing a key role in shaping the development of the parenting portfolio. Using your impressive digital, SEO, UGC, traffic analysis and social media expertise plus your creative flair, you’ll ensure the titles reflect innovation and achieve significant growth.

This is a high-profile position and you’ll need to be a confident, highly organised self-starter and team player who has the ability to manage projects as well as having the passion and drive to innovate significant changes.
