Our client is a leading provider of investment management and wealth management services. They are looking for an Investment Writer to join their in-house team.
The role will involve:
- Managing and executing regular written updates, including investment summaries for quarterly client report packs
- Working with the head of communications to ensure timeliness of turnaround for requests and quality of information provided
- Developing strong personal and broad working relationships with internal and external contacts to develop, write and edit content
- Distilling investment strategy and current portfolio structure into clear and concise material and articles for use across a range of marketing comms
- Participating in marketing team initiatives and special projects
- Liaising with relevant investment professionals to obtain necessary input
The ideal candidate will:
- Have strong experience of investment writing
- Have experience and an understanding of writing for the web
- Have a good investment knowledge and knowledge of the discretionary investment management industry, products and services, and of the needs of intermediaries
- Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive relationships with internal customers and investment professionals
- Be analytical, evaluative and have an excellent eye for detail
- Possess the ability to question, negotiate and influence
- Work well under pressure and be keen to take on responsibility
